Maersk hikes A-E rate May 1 US$550/TEU, then $1,050/TEU to WCSA
MAERSK Line will increase Asia North Europe freight rates US$550 per TEU from May 1, the company announced.
Asia-Europe rates have plummeted 78 per cent this year to a level widely seen as loss making.
Maersk also aims to raise rates from Asia to west coast Central and South America by $1,050 per TEU from May 15.
